Lucy Shea is the CEO of Futerra – a global sustainability change agency. Futerra marries the logic of sustainability with the magic of creative to help big brands and major foundations unlock change. Shea joined the company in 2003 and has grown the business from a start-up of five to a global agency with teams in London, New York, and Stockholm. Futerra is majority female-owned and operated, and a proud B-Corp.
Lucy is a firm believer in the power of business and brands to create change, and the power of sustainability to create value. Futerra’s clients include KAO, Colgate-Palmolive, PVH, and Target. Shea has longstanding experience in persuading people to take up sustainable lifestyles and is a founding member of the United Nations’ Sustainable Lifestyles Taskforce, where she authored Communicating Sustainability, today one of the UN's most read reports. Shea is also a Trustee of Fashion Revolution.
Lucy’s keynote will draw from Futerra’s Honest Product Guide, developed in partnership with the Consumer Goods Forum. The Honest Product Guide provides research, insight and tools on building trust with customers through product transparency.
