Matt Wagner is the Section Head for Global Fragrances Innovation in the Fragrances & Flavors division of Procter & Gamble. He has responsibilities for the development and delivery of innovation and capability programs that support new fragrance development across our global brand portfolio.
Matt joined P&G in 2004 and has worked across multiple categories in upstream technology, product, and measurement innovation roles. In the 15 years since he started, Matt has worked on numerous products and technologies for global brands across P&G. Matt has been a leading advocate within P&G for disruptive innovation that delights consumers and transforms categories. Matt is active in studying the science of the sense of smell and promoting the positive benefits of fragrance in everyday life.
Matt received his B.E. in Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington.
