Dr. Kingston brings 38 years professional experience to his affiliated practice sites in the areas of clinical toxicology and pharmacology, poison control, product post-market surveillance, consumer product safety and product formulation safety evaluation and review.
Dr. Kingston completed his Bachelor of Sciences in Pharmacy degree at the University of New Mexico, his Doctorate in Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota, and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in clinical toxicology and pharmacokinetics at the University of Minnesota where he currently serves as a Clinical Professor of Pharmacy in the Division of Professional Education. In his academic capacity he serves in multiple teaching and service areas related to his practice focus of “clinical pharmacology, toxicology and product safety”. Previously, Dr. Kingston served as cofounder and Director of the Minnesota Regional Poison Control Center.
He remains active with professional trade associations including the Household and Commercial Products Association (HCPA) where he received the Chairman’s award for efforts in promoting corporate product stewardship and serves as the primary corporate product stewardship trainer for all corporate member companies. He continues to work closely with numerous other national and international organizations advising governments, NGOs, consumer groups and other stakeholders regarding best practices related to consumer product safety.
